A Dance with Raven
A Dance with Raven
RavenBlackeMoon whether you be young or old tall or short wide or thin I ask your heart these minutes away float with mine across this terrace of space between us.
single white star; layer it with more millions toss the moon on its blanket walk slowly benath its canopy look upturned to this heavens melody like some glorious music above our heads towards an evening dance of shadow and stars sweeping soundlessly.
There was a moment we seemed to circle this way under a sea of starlight . where all seemed understood . and all feeling inside mirrored the charm of some moonlight dance if only for the length of a song a word.... a picture
barefoot hold your shoes in your other take my hand an arm round your waist swirl within the columns of moonlight cross the wind sweeping soundless being a floor for movement unaccustomed and familiar. Look away together from both of us angel on wings of night hold for our hearts dancing motionless close and regardless.
While the universe around us races away and away, before I leave you at your place, before I let you go, before you turn, before i take my leave; let me take your hand to kiss it goodbye and thank you for the dance.
