A Passive Aggressive Survivor's Poem
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am a ghost
Of your indecision
Your a blank page
full of rage
No need for a ghost
When your defenses are whats real
I took you inside my body
and was penetrated by the image of your soul
It was mummified and protected
Like a corpse layed to rest in its own prison
I was a forgiving fool when
You told me you'd never hurt me
but you left me in the wake of your anger
you never meant to say anything
but good-bye
without even knowing
I am a stranger to you,
as you are to yourself
Nothing to take or to give
no more resistance
its about time to say
no more, no more to the pain
Feeling isn't a sin
Wanting love from a angry boy was suicide
My sentence has ended, I've reclaimed the key
To unlock this prison
to take back the innocence
of the wounded souls
they always follow rage
no where to go...
