Alone
You left me one whole year ago
So much has happened you don't know
I certainly pined away for you
Oh the kleenexes I went through
A month ago I was feeling sad
Remembering good times that we had
Over and over in my head
I remembered all the things you said.
It wasn't easy to go on
To realize you were finally gone.
And then one night I had a dream
Your face was evil - your eyes were mean.
I woke up and I realized
Everything you told me was a lie.
Hurtful memories came to me,
You were not the man you pretended to be.
I'm not angry anymore
Don't feel the sadness I had before.
Although I miss you a little bit
I don't miss the old bullshit.
