i‘m so sorry about what has happened and i was afraid of it when i read your first post.

i don‘t know where you are, but in the states you are allowed to put a 100 word statement in your credit report that can be viewed by all who see your report.  in the states there are 3 major credit reporting agencies.  all you have to do is get in touch with them to find out how to do this. you could reference the divorce decree number, site of filing and other verifiable information.

i have seen credit reports where the statement listed medical expenses, the medical condition and the fact they couldn‘t pay.  it allowed me to grant them credit when i normally wouldn‘t have without the statement.

if you need, i can get the numbers of the agencies.

much better.  it was april 28th when i discovered all the emails from the multiple ow.  i tried for a while to make it work.  he swore he loved me blah blah......i went to counseling and it really helped. 

i‘d rather be alone then in a relationship where i have to "share".  interestingly, i think he does realize he screwed up and that makes me feel better.  it will be a long road, but at least i‘m going uphill now!!!!  my faith has helped tremendously.  also, i had no idea i had so many friends who support me.  my daughters used to make sure i was busy in the evenings, but i‘m past that now.  so, once again, life is good.  the scars will remain for a while, but soon they too will fade.

hi,  i‘m so sorry for what you are going through.  you are very smart to keep your knowledge to yourself.

adult friend finder was the ruination of my last relationship.  when i confronted him, he said it was just something exciting to do.  he said that all the people he met there were just "normal" people.  i explained that "normal" people do not post pictures of their privates for the world to see as well as an invitation for group sex.  what is interesting about the experience was that his thinking was so marred by the porn that he really believed that it was normal.

i hope for the best for you, but without serious counseling for the two of you, i don‘t see how your marriage can be saved.  Porn is a very powerful addiction. good luck

monday night i had to put my yellow lab, brady, to sleep.  she had been a member of our family for over 13 years.  i took her to the vet on saturday and was told she would not make it much longer so i made the appointment for monday so that she could die at home and not in a sterile vet‘s office. (apologies to any vets out there)

i sobbed all weekend, buckets monday night and am tearing up now as i write this.

when i discovered that my exbf was cheating, in a way most would consider perverse, i cried for about an hour.  i thought he was the love of my life.  but apparently he was only worth one hour of crying.

MORAL:  get a dog, it‘s the only way to get unconditional love.  get a man if you want to cry less

wow, i can‘t even imagine the grief they must be feeling.  also, to have this time of year be a reminder of his untimely death is horrible. 

thoughts and prayers for the friends and family of this young man and especially for his twin.

since saturday i have been thanking God for the wonderful dog he brought into our lives.  that helps too.

the wierd thing is that i don‘t think i cried this much when my mom and dad died...i had to be strong for the kids.  now it‘s no holds barred and i‘m bawling like a baby.

i had the same problem, though the stuff wasn‘t as big as you describe.  i rented a storage unit, paid three months in advance and sent a certified return receipt requested letter stating that it was at XXXX the combination was YYYY and it was available to him until DD/MM/YY. 

of course he did not get it and then it was mine.  his attorney wrote a letter after the drop dead date stating that he was going to pick it up at my house on Saturday........oops, sorry, it was gone to the dump, goodwill and my neighbors house for the yard sale.

i would seriously consider doing the same thing only stating that the cars would be towed by the same date and follow through.

it is empowering and it worked.

wow, i have so many..

4 older brothers and 1 older and 1 younger sister on a small farm in the midwest.....

we made our own fun.  i remember one time when i was in second grade, going for a pony ride in the middle of winter.  we were riding to town and came across the frozen body of a dead skunk.  being stupid kids, we picked up the skunk and took it to town.  once we got there we stuck it in the snow so it looked like it was alive and ran into town screaming "Skunk, Skunk". 

my older brothers friends came out, ran to see the skunk and then ran home to get their guns.  everyone had guns back then.  while they were gone, my younger sister and i moved the skunk.  then they returned to blast the living crap out of the dead skunk. 

we thought it was funny, but my mother didn‘t.  she made me wear those stinky gloves for the rest of the winter.

my most profound memory was going to see a house on fire.  i was very small, probably only four years old.  we didn‘t have much money, so i only had two pairs of shoes, one for church and one for everyday.  i remember that it was a sunday night and i had my best frilly socks and my patent leather shoes on.  my brother was holding me and we were watching the fire burn.  my dad came over and didn‘t say anything, but he took my shoes and socks off my feet.  then he walked over to another man who was holding a little girl and handed them to him.  it was a lesson that i will carry for the rest of my life........Giving to others is the greatest gift you can give yourself.

i love this thread too.....

one of my favorite stories was about my ex.  one night, about three days after i had told him i was filing for divorce, he was sitting in his leather lazy boy. he had not been drinking, which was unusual.  he started asking me all kinds of questions. "How long have you been planning this?"  "Do you know what this will do to the kids?"  "I have tried so hard to make you happy, why don‘t we try counseling?"  etc.  He almost sounded sensitive!!!!!!!  Highly uncharacteristic of him.  (btw, we had been to 3 marriage counselors).

I couldn‘t figure out what he was up to, so the next morning i looked under the chair and found a tape recorder.  he had taped our conversation, in which he looked like the loving husband/father and i looked like a total b****.

Soooooo, i went out to his car and found another tape, still in the package.  i replaced the offensive tape with the empty tape...

he spent about 2 hours the next day with the tape recorder up to his ear listening for ANYTHING!!!!

It still brings a smile to my face.
