Infidelity Stories

My story begins when I was 13.  My virginity was taken from me in the form of rape. Then I was molested by a family member, physically abused by my mother's fiance (ex now) and step brother, date raped in college, beaten by my ex-husband, and right now in a relationship with a cheater (which I will be rid of soon!).  I am still here and mentally stable even with everything that has happened to me.  No, it has not been an easy road but, what in life is ever easy?  What helped me through all of this is to remember that the bad things that happen to you do not make up who you are.  Yes you learn from the situations and are more cautious but, do not let them mold you into a person you don't want to be.  Just because one person has violated your trust does not mean that everyone in this world is bad.  Look at the members of this site, help is always around and there are people who are willing to sacrifice to give you that help.  I was lost for a moment and was able to get it together with just a few responses to a post that I made.  Everyone has such amazing strentgth inside of them, you just have to figure out how to tap into it and once you do you can get through anything.  I am living proof of that.
