I‘ve written and deleted this a few times; but what I‘m going to post is something that thirties years of legal practice, forty years of involvement in women‘s issues has provoked.
Unfaithfulness is a pandemic.
Tiger Woods is not unique; yes, most men have serial affairs; one, then the big sorry, then a year or so later another, and the big sorry, then two years later.... because many men can not be faithful.
They have a serious problem with that kind of commitment.
Having been through it many times; my advice is usually met by anger/upsetness/ moral/religious attack, just about every negative.
However;
If your man is unfaithful, don‘t play the martyr. Find someone. Even if you are using the guy, even if the relationship is not sexual...
DO NOT BE HOME ALONE while he is out.
If you have to carry the kids to your mother, if you have to join clubs and have friends so that you get a ‘space‘ where you can ‘fit‘ an affair... do it.
In this way;
1) you won‘t feel you are a loser 2) you‘ll see how stupid your husband is 3) you will also see his faults.
Example;
Wife thinks Husband is having an affair. Don‘t catch him...time him.
He leaves at 8 pm and isn‘t back until 12 or so. Good. Go out from 8:15 and get back at 11:30.
You may go and sit by yourself in a lobby...fine... but go out... VERY IMPORTANT do not leave any clue that you went out.
He is so hot to trot with Slutina he has no idea you are not home.
This gives you a rush...he‘s pretty stupid.
Now you have a date. You have someone to compare him with.
Lori was married to a guy who complained about everything. She went out with Ted who didn‘t.
She divorced her husband, ‘not because he was unfaithful but because I realised what a horrible person he was‘.
Keep your ‘secret‘ of going out to yourself. Overtime it will act as a disconnect from your husband so that his adultery is used as your carte blanche.
When you do get around to divorcing him, you‘ll feel the power.
"Hey Asole," you‘ll say, when the ink is dry, "Did you think I stayed home and cried when you were out with Slutina?"
