I went to the auto store to buy windshield wipers.  The salesman asked what kind I wanted and I said “they come in kinds?”   Let’s just say he offered to put them on for me so I would not have to be bothered with that.  Paid for, with free installation.

Hahaha brilliant stories!

Well, I don‘t usually play the girl card because I can‘t stand girlie girlie types. I love big dogs, will scratch and kick in laughter if someone tickles me too much, and can usually repair my cars on my own. Plus, the police are clients of our business so they wouldn‘t buy it if I pretended not to know what they are talking about if it was anything mechanical.

I so have one story springing to mind though :)

I was 18, had just hooked up with my ex and was driving around with him next to me, in my late uncle‘s Suzuki jeep. I knew the car‘s engine had been replaced with a bigger one, and I also knew that the new engine hadn‘t been registered, so I got very worried when I got pulled over - because the Suzuki is a bit, let‘s say, loud (we call it the roaring mouse) even though I wasn‘t speeding, and the policeman commented on the car.

Policeman: "Cute little thing! It‘s the 800cc isn‘t it?"

(Of course, it wasn‘t. The unregistered engine in it was 1000 cubic centimetres. For the light weight of the car, the 1000cc engine practically turned it into a rocket).

Me: "Erm... what? Eight? What do you mean?"

Policeman: "Haha honey never mind. Could you bring this car over to police headquarters at your earliest convenience? I‘d like to check its registration".

Me: "(Crap, bugger, I‘m screwed) Sure!"

When I drove the car there, I had a plan. I wore a low cut top. The dude literally sat there, comparing the registration details of one engine, with the serial number of the installed engine (we‘re talking about two completely different numbers here), while I stood next to him examining my nails and straightening my top, and eventually handed me back the papers saying everything was in order. I couldn‘t believe my luck! Of course it wasn‘t in order! Anyone paying minimum attention could see very clearly that the engine was not properly registered!

Oh well, can‘t really complain. It worked

this summer we had like alot of wash outs on our long driveway from loads of rain. my mom ordered pea gravel to replace the gravel lost from the rains. since my mom was at work when it was to be delivered i had to wait around for it.

this huge dump truck shows up and i could even hear it inside the house. i walked out to see.

driver:  here is your 8 tons of gravel miss.

me:  8 tons?

driver:  where would you like me to dump it?

me:  you mean like in a pile or something?

driver:  this is alot of gravel and will be a big pile. who is going to spread it?

me:  well...me and my mom but mostly me.

driver:  you will need a good shovel...a wheel barrow..and of course some gloves because shoveling all that will probably give you bad blisters on your hands from the shovel.

me:  i have some mittens but they are for the winter?

driver:  miss..i am not supposed to do this because i only deliver the gravel but if you stand back out of the way let me see if i can help.

i moved out of the way and he started going forward and back and lifting the thing to let the gravel out. finally he then lifted the dump thing more and drove down the driveway as gravel was coming out.

i walked to the end of the driveway and thanked him with a smile. he told me that all i needed now was a garden rake to smooth it. when my mom got home it looked like a new driveway

One day a man knocked on the door,  he was telling me he was going to cut back my trees from the powerlines.

I was talking to him,  he was flirting with me.  I said  I sure wish you could cut down this tree,  he said well I am not suppost to because it isn‘t by the power lines.

When I got home the next day the tree was gone and he left me his name and number.

That is the only time I remember using the girl card on anybody.

i went to get a  car wash where they wash the exterior.

after getting the wash done ,  i  asked the guy do you know if the air is okay on the tires, cause i dont know how to do it.  he took the car to the air pump and did the tires for me. which wasnt part of what i was having done.

then i asked do u know if the oil is okay, he checked it.

and do u the carpets come vaccumed with a car wash not caring that i just got a basic exterior only wash, he went ahead and vaccumed the carpets.

i usually dont do that, but i didnt know how full of air the tires should have been so i thought i would give it a try and he did all this extra stuff for me.

all this just for giving him a smile. hmmm.

i thought it was cute, so i thought i would share mine.
