I will also need a friend with a shovel.
I might have to kill him!! He bought another gun for over $1200. Why? why when we are barely making ends meet as it is. Who the hell put guns before a mortgage payment?
I am at my wits end!!
Rally the troops girlies, he‘s a big fiesty one but I think we can handle him!!

I realise I am talking to myself here.
Just last night I told him I would rip his dick off if he bought another gun. He tells me "I know, I am not buying anymore guns". Then this morning I see he did (pandora) earlier in the day. I am livid!! He so straight faced looked at me and lied.
So this morning he is still sleeping and I go up and lay my head next to him and tell him "I am going to have your rip your dick off now!" Of course he is startled and freaks out. Then, then all the excuses and I‘m sorry‘s come streaming out.
It really sucks not to trust someone. AND the sneaking kills me.
I come home for lunch and there is this long letter of blah, blah, blah, I love you so much, blah, blah, blah. I have gotten two letters in our 16 years together. He knows how pissed I am.
When do I just throw in the towel?? When will I ever be able to trust him?? I hate this!!

it‘s so scary when your guy is not financially responsible. my husband used to complain that I held our finances too tightly. when we got married, I inherited almost 130 thou in his debt. I put us on a 3 year "spend absolutely nothing" plan, then a 2 year, "we can spend 25 bucks a month" plan. we slowly dug outselves out of debt. when he started his affair, he cashed in everything we had and they traveled in high style. I‘m broke and he says it‘s all because I held him back too tightly for too long.
it‘s scary. you need to know you can trust. any chance of counseling to work this out?

That‘s just it. His lips started flappin‘ "I gonna sell of 2 my pistols that will more than cover this gun". The thing that gets me is I am cutting corners every where. I have tightened the belt. I come home every day for lunch. There are no outings with the girls, no spending on anything other that necessities and bills. I just don‘t see the logic in buying soo many guns. And not to mention how expensive ammunition is and he goes shooting every week. I still need to pay off a washer a dryer! I downsized to a inexpensive used vehicle and he bought a new truck!! He had the gaul to tell me that I should go find a rich man. Are you fu-cking kidding me?? I told him he needs to go find a rich woman!! This man is going to die way before I do and leave me in a financial mess. Scary.

Sorry Busty! I can hear your anger and frustration, and I am sympathizing with you. I went through a lot of similar things when I was married. I hate lies and sneaky behavior, and it is only one of many reasons why I am now single.
I have no concrete advice or words of wisdom. I think your husband is being really unfair to you, and that he‘s being irresponsible. I guess he thinks it is easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
And deep down, he knows you aren‘t going to leave, and if he apologizes beautifully, or improves his behavior for a while, you will let it go. He‘s banking on that.
I know also that divorce isn‘t always an answer. It‘s clear that you love him very much.
You have my permission to make his life miserable for quite a while longer, LOL! Hang in there Busty!

I think it might be time to put an ad on Craig‘s List and sell some of those guns or make him return his latest purchase. He keeps doing these things because he knows all you will do is just get mad.

what if you each get an insurance policy and if he pays on yours, he can collect if you go first, and if you pay on his, you collect if/when we finally find him with our baseball bats

Busty....Many Americans are buying up guns and amino faster than the stores can stock them. Just talk to any gun store owner.
Americans might loose their right to buy guns someday.
Be thankful you have guns.....tell your hubby next month the mortgage is on him, and then do something special for yourself.
If he doesn‘t comply.....well, then its time for the golf clubs and baseball bats.
