I empathise...its the confusion you feel when they do something so ridiculous...the unreality of it can knock the wind out of you.

I‘ve given up understanding men, I‘ve come to the conclusion that we and them are on completely different wavelengths about certain aspects of life, such as money, relationships, children...whats important and not important, either its that their priorities are different to ours or they are just better at lying to themselves. Your OH told himself that HE...no WE really need that Gun...more than food, at the time this made perfect sense to him I swear!!!  if I have a son, I‘ll try to teach him how to think like a woman so that he won‘t end up making some poor girls life a misery.
