I was in an abusive relationship and for some reason I miss him? What is wrong with me. I know that there were good days and bad days but then I got rid of him completely by the law and getting a domestic violence order and no contact against him. His stuff is here and I keep looking at it and smelling his cologne and thinking that what have I done wrong? Why am I wanting this sick psycho of a man in my life to begin with? what is wrong with me or am I just addicted to him cause he‘s a man and thinking that I can‘t live without one?

Maybe I‘m venting but just wanted some advice?

You are only missing his presence. If you allow him back in the abuse will start up again. Stay strong. Are you in counseling? that may be an avenue that you need to take to help you deal with this. Good luck!

yes I‘m in counseling at a place that helps women understand domestic violence. I‘m learning a lot. But your right I‘m missing his prescence and not really him. Just have to be okay with me and some days I am and others I‘m not?

I agree with Supermom, you are missing his presence. It is much easier to look back on the good times. You just need time. It gets easier trust me.
