I‘ve been listening to this song on the radio lately, and I started to sing along, I really got into it.. I decided to look up the lyrics today... it was another WOW moment for me...

For me, certain songs bring me back to a time from my past, and when I hear it, it will take me back, feelings and all.
Some are for good memories, some are not.
Some are from when I had the flat in the last city I lived in, or when my son was young.
Or when I was in high school, or at a party.
I have some for my relationships, mainly the break ups of them.
For the one with my son‘s father, it is Outside by Staind. Every time I hear it, even now, I remember laying in bed, being sad and crying, and thinking I had no where to go, and how F-ud my life had gotten. I finally managed to move out, but that song still brings back those memories for me.
For this one, it‘s going to be Billy Talent Rusted From the Rain. It makes perfect sense for me.

I understand! I have a couple of theme songs as well. One that really applies (and I can sing it in karaoke) isInside out by Eve6.

I liked your post.
I love that Maroon 5song with the lyrics "tap on my window, knock on my door, I wanna make you feel beautiful." I‘m so far away from that right now, lol. But I haven‘t always been -luckily. I‘m so bummed I‘m losing my guy to a game that isn‘t real.
