Hello Ladies, I just wanted to warn you that there was a rating on my ex from someone who wanted me to contact them via e-mail. I searched the member here, but did not find anything. So, I googled (what was the world before google??) and found that someone else in this forum received the exact same message, but I couldn‘t locate the post. Also, I found this message on two other websites:
1. Chakpak.com The username used was ubgirl, female, 24 years old, full name was Ubgirl Joy
2. Overthescene.com The username used was Sandra, female, from Daka, Senegal (I hope she meant Dakar!?)
The post was left on various members‘ pages on 8/20/09, on the other site early this month, and the woman from this forum wrote about the post Sept 3, 2009.
Anyway, just wanted to give you the info in case you get it because I started freaking out, since it sounded as if she knew my ex. I became suspicious after reading it for the third or fourth time because her post sounded as if she was not a native English speaker. I have to share this: when I noticed the broken English, I thought, "OMG! My ex actually took my sarcastic advice that I gave during an argument!" I told him that the pool of women who would put up with his **** was getting smaller and smaller as he got older. I said "I think your best bet would be mail-ordered brides! Make sure you get one that doesn‘t speak any English, so she won‘t have to hear your **** and she will never know that you are a pathological liar! Although, I think eventually, she may get sick of the nonverbal abuse that you dish out! Not wanting to be with an abusive man is a universal need for all women!"

The Internet if full of scammers. I think it is Nigeria‘s third major export. Anything you get from anyone ever which tries to get your email; "Please send me a private message at;..." is a scammer. I don‘t care if s/he/it tells you s/he/it is a man woman child or literate puppy; this is no doubt a Nigerian scammer...
(or a Sengalise, Congolese, etc. S C A M M E R)
Just as having locks on our doors, we need to get a scam box where we can dump crapmail. (I think there is a crapmail site).
To protect yourself from Scammers, whether on dating sites or other Message Boards; create an account on some generic site like hotmail or yahoo, using a phrase....‘flyakite‘ ‘counttoten‘ etc.
and L I E about everything. Use that account to join other sites.
Most Nigerian scammers when receiving your email as a phrase appreciate you are ‘one of them‘ so leave you alone.
For example, on Harmony this chap appears. He says he‘s
39. He likes women in the 50+ category. He sounds dreamy
and is matched to many many women.
His email is something like takeachance@hotmail.com.
If one of those women writes back as flyakite@hotmail.com
he won‘t continue his scam. Because he realises he has met a fellow travelor.

Thanks for the warning...I saw a special on NBC about scammers and identity theft on the interenet. I couldn‘t believe how well some of the scams are orchastrated!
They will go as far as they have to steal your identity and hard earned cash!
The task team in the US has done alot of big busts over the years but say they don‘t know if they will ever be able to truley get a lid on it...
We have to be careful...and watch out for eachother!
