The best scam they run is the one on dating sites. They used to use a photo of ‘Scott Grant‘, a cataloge model, join eharmony or whatever, connect with women, claim to be in Africa as a doctor or peace corp worker.
The females would be half in love after the first post, quickly go to I.M. and he‘d come up with some sob story about little Kwame needing a kidney transplant or whatever...and the fems would clean out their bank account.
He‘d proposal marriage, claim he didn‘t have the money for the ticket because he‘d used every cent to build a school in Onitsu, and the females would send him tickets to come home.
Anyone on a dating site who sounds that little bit ‘too good‘ is
a Nigerian scammer.
