i love this thread too.....
one of my favorite stories was about my ex. one night, about three days after i had told him i was filing for divorce, he was sitting in his leather lazy boy. he had not been drinking, which was unusual. he started asking me all kinds of questions. "How long have you been planning this?" "Do you know what this will do to the kids?" "I have tried so hard to make you happy, why don‘t we try counseling?" etc. He almost sounded sensitive!!!!!!! Highly uncharacteristic of him. (btw, we had been to 3 marriage counselors).
I couldn‘t figure out what he was up to, so the next morning i looked under the chair and found a tape recorder. he had taped our conversation, in which he looked like the loving husband/father and i looked like a total b****.
Soooooo, i went out to his car and found another tape, still in the package. i replaced the offensive tape with the empty tape...
he spent about 2 hours the next day with the tape recorder up to his ear listening for ANYTHING!!!!
It still brings a smile to my face.

In my state it is illegal to tape a conversation unless the party is aware. (looks like i broke the law with my voice activated recorder) but i never used it for anything.
did you ever tell him what you did?? When my stbx pisses me off, I want to tell him some of the things I did to him. But i have kept them to myself!!

I think the best revenge for these guys is to just ignore them, as most are narcissists and hate that. They think they can treat you like sh.t and you come running back for more....WTF...just ignore and get on with your life, you will meet someone who deserves you.

Long time ago ex cheated numerous times.
I was livid and somewhat unbelieving. I mean who would risk loosing me? LOL.
Here is SOME of what I did.
Used a watering can to dampen the carpet, all beds and lounge suite.
Sprinkled grass seed over everything.
Watered a bit more and turned on the heating. When he arrived home from a dirty week with the bit on the side...EVERYTHING had to be thrown out.
Usual cleaning body parts with his toothbrush.
Unpicked every third stitch in three suits and the shirts he loved to wear with them. Result.....Bent over at work and lost EVERYTHING to the floor.
One fish scale in the fuel pump of his vehicle. Doesn‘t show up in mechanics workshop. Takes days and weeks for someone to figure out what has been done. After spending thousands of dollars on repair shops all he really needed was a $5 filter.
A ping pong ball in the fuel tank has an equal effect. Ping pong ball gets sucked down into opening and cuts off fuel. Car stalls.....Oh rats. LOL.
The same time as the grass growing exercise was the realease of mice into the house. They were already breeding in the week he was away. LOL. He was a catch and release kinda guy. So would never dream of using traps. He was pathetic...Standing at the bar weeping into his beer telling his ‘pals‘ all about what I had done.

Mean stuff really. I mean like really mean.....
Used round up (grass and weed killer) and wrote a message on his BEAUTIFUL manicured lawn.
Ran a high powered magnet over all videos and tapes, Removed the old plug in ariel for television and cut one of the wires and replugged it all in. Looked normal but no television picture...Result. Technician had to be called.
Added Peroxide to all bottles of shampoo and conditioner.
Added laxative to coffee granules.
Unrolled the only toilet roll there and then superglued it as I rolled it back up.
Final insult....Added his name to here so all can see what a looser he is. Poor wee man is sooooo lonely and bitter. I passed him in the street one day and he ran, I mean RAN to cross the road to avoid me. I just stood there laughing.

I have done alot of mean things too. I am to the point that i dont do them anymore. but it sure was fun when i was doing it. If he every knew what i did he would have a fit!! hehehe

I hear that.
I no longer see the need for revenge.
I now see it as someone comes into our lives for a reason or a season. When it is over WALK AWAY with dignity still intact.
At the time I was young, stubborn and bent on revenge.
It is way too stressful to live like that forever.
But **** it was hilarious at the time.
