• geographic area (City, State, or Zip code)
• service delivery site (clinic) name and State or Zip code
• program type support received (e.g., Black Lung, Community Health Center) and State or Zip code
• type of service (e.g., primary care, dental, ob/gyn and State or Zip code)

And click on: “Your State’s Programs”.
Then click on your state to learn more.

For little or no cost, this insurance pays for:

• doctor visits,
• prescription medicines,
• hospitalizations, and
• much more.

Kids that do not currently have health insurance are likely to be eligible, even if you are working. The states have different eligibility rules, but in most states, uninsured children 18 years old and younger, whose families earn up to $34,100 a year (for a family of four) are eligible.

If you have a medical problem and cannot afford health insurance, there are many free clinics or low cost/subsidized health care programs.  All states have some form of state assisted government aid which is FREE if you qualify for it.  And medications are either free or low cost (e.g., $1 per prescription).  Please do NOT ignore your health!!!   Use the above links to search for a program or clinic in your area.
