I am 38 yrs old, I have not had an orgasm in over 5 years. I have had several sexual partners over the years and I am in a committed relationship now but I do have trust issues. I do not trust men to be faithful. I do not know one man that is. Could this be my problem? Any help is very much appreciated!!!!

Here are some questions you should think about:
Are you on any medication? I‘ve heard that some anti-depressants & anti-anxiety meds can cause a drop in sex drive & effect your ability to orgasm.
Are there certain ways you have orgasmed in the past? Maybe only thru oral or manual stimulation? Thru certain intercourse positions? Your body changes as you get older. I couldn‘t orgasm thru oral sex until I hit my early 30‘s. Now I can rarely orgasm thru intercourse unless I "help myself along."
Have you been able to orgasm with a partner before? With THIS current partner?
Are you able to have an orgasm on your own or with "toys"? If so, then your inability with a partner might be a result of trust issues.
Not feeling comfortable & trusting can definately effect your ability to relax, enjoy sex, and have orgasms. I don‘t know your situation, but if you don‘t trust the guy you are with, then WHY are you with him?
Good luck!

I guess I can say that it may be trust issues. I don‘t trust men in general as I do not know any that have not cheated either while dating or married. I have only had an orgasm with a partner once, back in college, but never again. I have had one alone, and it surprised me. I have never been able to do it again. It is like I get close, or what I feel is close, and then my body shuts down and the stimulation becomes uncomfortable or numb in the area being stimulated. Do I trust the man I am with, yes to a point, but mostly I have to say no I do not.
