my husband is away alot with work and recently when he came back I noticed peeling skin and lumps on his penis. We both went straight to the dr and got tested. He tested positive for herpes 1 and I didnt.
It was exactly two weeks from when he got home that I started to get outbreaks.
He lied to me about the results said that he had the all clear and it was a reaction from a tablet he took.
Her tells me he has never had outbreaks and had no idea he had it. I have never seen him have an outbreak but is away alot on business.
Drs tell me he could of had it for years but what are the chances of me not getting it after all this time as we have been together 7 1/2 years... and I got it when I noticed his penis.
My problem is has he been cheating on me...is it more likely he got it while away and was having his first outbreak or had it for years and it was his first outbreak. Sound a bit suspect to me. Is it realistic he could of had it for years???
He is a real liar and lies all the time, why wouldnt he lie about this, I dont trust him. He even lied about the results but I found out, of course

No, it‘s not realistic. It was newly acquired and you got it soon after he did.
Leave him.
Many people can carry the herpes virus and never have an outbreak, that doesn‘t mean they don‘t have it. The statistics show that by the age of 50 1 in 5 people are carring the herpes virus, but most don‘t even know it. The only way to be sure is have a blood test done called a Western Blot test. I would be very suspicious if he would refuse to take the test. If you have never cheated your right....it had to come from some where.
Thinking it was dormant and just now reared it‘s ugly head is unrealistic in my opinion.
You need to take the neccessary steps to get out of this before you contract this. I‘d leave and protect yourself and your health.
I‘m sorry... it‘s not sounding very good for him. It‘s more likely that he just got it recently. Take the time to sort out what you‘re going to do about it and in the meantime don‘t go within 10 feet of his willy without wearing a biohazard suit. If you caught it from him ontop of being cheated on it‘d be a real kick in the teeth.
