Man....when you think you've got a keeper and that so called "keeper" treats you like dirt and is selfish, makes you wonder if there are any true decent men out there that would enjoy being with a woman and have a good life, instead of lie to everyone including themselves and sleep around with your best friend of 16 years. Now tell me hes not a keeper??  NOT!!!!!!!

Oh, you changed your name, kewl...I’m glad you realized this and got out, what are you going to do now? It sounds as if you are more mad than hurt? That is a good thing, it shows strength and resilience (sp?)

There are decent guys out there, they usually dont put on a phasad to entice a partner, rather sit on the sidelines and watch it all go by them...like me!

Whatever you do from here on out, make sure that it is what you want for you, not what someone else wants from you.

Feel free to post and explore elsewhere, other women could gain from your experiance! And if you havent already, I reccommend you post his name and info in the database for all women to see what a creep he is!

Thanks again! I am liking this site, thats for sure. I love that people just tell it like it is, and thats what I'm all about as well. I have had a good year to live on my own(something totally new!) and realize what I want and DON"T want from men. I certainly know I do not have room for selfishness. I know not all men are this way, but my track record seems to be different. As far as the mad/sad part, yes I am quite mad i guess for the simple fact that i was played for a fool for a number of years, and that my so called best friend of 16 years chose a man over our friendship. I guess i didn't rate very high in her eyes. Oh well...easy come...easy go?

Opinions are free flowing, and your privacy and anonymity remain intact. I have had the easy come easy go thing to, it sucks. The best thing is to move forward. Build the life you want for you, create a new habit to take over for the ones you shared with this guy and dont look back.

I am somewhat conservative in what I say based in part being a hetero male, many women arrive here with mistrust of men, I dont want those scars of men to become a lasting memory...
