So my newer thing this year is budgeting gifts and letting go of outcomes.  I‘m sorry but I don‘t believe in buying people love, I belive you spend time with folks or help them do things around the house, not just buy people "things." 

From now on also with the abuser guy, I just do the best I can, get second opinions on things, then I am going to let it go.  I am going to spend my budget and if that blows folks up, that is their own problem.  I feel like I have a teenager. 

I knew the Kenneth Cole watch wouldn‘t be good enough for him, but neither am I, and I have a lot to offer as a person.  Nothing is ever quite good enough for some folks and I really don‘t have to beg folks to like me at the end of the day.

From now on, within reason, I am going to be honest with him and if that upsets the apple cart, I don‘t really care. 

I read both of your posts Alpha.  I dealt with the same type of guy.  NOTHING about you will ever be right, good enough, or done perfectly for him.

He is a teenager.  Now, I hate to be blunt but you only have a year invested with this arsehole.  The more you stick around for his abuse the less he respects you.  You want respect?  Give it to yourself and just pack it up and leave sister.

They never change.  Even though I kicked my husband out with an order of protection he is running around telling people that HE asked me for a divorce.  Pretty laughable.  I at this point don‘t care who believes that B.S.  It aint‘t about them, him or anybody in between except for our kids.  It‘s about having enough love for me to do it.

This is about having enough love for yourself to quite procrastinating and move it.  Don‘t have the money?  The DO something about it.  Going to live with your parents or a friend would be far more uspstanding than this.
