If they won‘t help you file, go to your states website. You can download and print the forms yourself. With an order of protection there has to be a threat of Physical violence from him. With a restraining order it is mental abuse, bothering you at work etc.
File with your proof. But give the court copies in case they lose them. Make several copies for yourself.
Sorry but sounds to me like you should also get an attorney, in addition to what the other gal said. They get some of the fees at the end. Be sure and check them out first though, also, and ask how much your fees are. Do any of your friends or a counselor know one?
