I married a widower who had been married for 28 years. His wife died from a myriad of symptoms. I am here to attest she died from being abused by my husband and her children. I don�t know if narcisscist teach their children that skill. Two years into my marriage I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and I knew if was from the stress of the abuse from my husband and his kids. In the pre- surgical room the anesthesiology nurse gave my husband my wedding rings for safekeeping and he took them back to the room and threw on the bed table i believe he stepped on them because the setting was catching on my clothes. I always kept a high standard in the men I dated, and I felt maybe I was too cold and calculating for thinking that way so I open my heart an felt compassion for someone I would never be friendly with let alone dating.

This was an amazing post! I have been searching for something like this for a long long time. I really feel like a lot of my questions were answered. My ex bf of 6 1/2 years fits every single sign of a toxic man. How did I miss this in the beginning? I left him in Dec 09‘ and he begged for a good 4 months and as soon as he found a new g/f he dropped me and his son like a bad habit! Good luck to all the others struggling with a toxic man. It‘s like hell on earth putting your life back together.

My ex is a new type of toxic men. He is a cross between the one who says poor poor me. He cries to other woman saying I did him wrong and I am such a horrible wife. He wants you to feel sorry for him and comfort him all the time. When we fight he will say he so sorry he is just a loser and a horrible man who should be dead and he will never do it again. The next day he will check out a woman as if I am not standing right next to him. He will sit on the phone flirting with other women as if he is not sitting right next to me. When I call him out on it then he is so sorry and will NEVER do it again. He is also a playa. He will tell these women they are sexy and beautiful and all these sexual things he wants to do to them. Once he has gotten them he always drops them. So ladies be aware of the cross breeds!
