Is it a warning feeling all through your body that the other person makes you feel? uncivilized actions or situations one is in? I have no friends yet . I‘m about to get divorced. I have one beautiful 2 year old and would like to find the ideal husband. (I was verbally, physically and sexually abused) Please all ideas are welcome... I need help.

A red flag is a warning that our bodies give off about someone or something. To often we women ignore those warnings because we think that we can change someone or the situation.

Lullaby, you are young. Just take your time and do not settle for anything less than what YOU are looking for in a spouse. It may take time for the right person to come along but if you wait and work on YOU then the wait will be worth it.
Are you in counseling for the abuse? If not you may think about seeking it so that you do not look at every man like he is an abuser.( sometimes when getting out of an abusive relationship we tend to judege other men based on the abusive man in our lives)

We are the only ‘animal‘ on the planet that ignores danger signs. We not only ignore them we run towards them, date them, love them! Red flags are a gift from god, it is that little voice within, that we drown out with, oh but he‘s hot and is paying attention to me, forget that the hair on the back of my neck is standing up, he likes me. Some of us even know of his bad past but we ignore that because well, our love is going to change them.
There is a video that you should see. See the right hand corner of this screen? See where it says ‘Pubilicity‘? Click that. Then click the dating nightmares video.
We need to listen to that voice within. Mostly we need to love and respect ourselves, and never NEVER settle, no matter what the reason. Also never make excuses for someone, like, oh they are only saying, doing, acting, whatever, because of this, that or the other. Never explain away bad behavior. You asking the question is a very good sign that you have a great head on your shoulders!
