Tribal wisdom of the Dakota Indians (so legend has it), passed on from generation to generation, says that, "When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount."

However, in today‘s enlightened world of relationships, the top 10 more advanced strategies most often employed are:

#10) talk to the dead horse until you believe you have convinced it that it is not dead

#9) decide that the horse being dead is your fault and change what you are doing

#8) forgive the dead horse for dying and convince yourself it is not dead and will never die again
