FVPC has many events planned for DVAM 2006. Please mark your calendars and plan on joinning us for these inspirational events:
October 1st - “Turning Points: A Celebration of the Beauty of the Human Spirit”. This is a unique fashion show that will showcase survivors and other community leaders whose work impacts the lives of victims of domestic violence. 3 to 5 p.m. at the Greene County Fairgrounds Assembly Hall
October 2nd– Candlelight Vigil celebrating survivors and remembering victims of domestic violence. 6 to 8 p.m. at Shawnee Park Pavilion
October 9th– FVPC and the Greene County Visitation Center hosts a seminar on Domestic Violence and Visitation Issues. Please contact FVPC for registration info
October 1 through the 31st – Throughout all of October FVPC will run its “Purple Ribbon Campaign”. Please join us in showing your support for victims of domestic violence. If you would like to receive lapel, car, and/or decorative ribbons for a workplace or for personal use, please contact FVPC at the information below.
