My name is Ashley Heintzelman and I am a Counseling Psychology Doctoral Student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. For my dissertation research project I am studying the process of recovery from infidelity. I am passionate about this topic because I have personally been affected by infidelity and I want to add the empirical literature on this topic. I was wondering if you would please consider filling out my survey for my dissertation project that seeks to better understand the factors that promote recovery from infidelity.
You are only eligible to participate if you are currently in a committed relationship and your romantic partner has had sexual intercourse with someone other than you during the course of your relationship. You must still be in the relationship where the infidelity took place, and the incident must have taken place at least 6 months ago. You must also be 18 years of age or older.
As incentive for participation, you will have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win one of five $10.00 gift certificates to Target.
