I just had a movie marathon over the weekend with my girls and watched
some great movies from the past, including 16 candles, the goonies, the
godfather, a bronx tale, and others. What are some of your favorite
movies?

I love the godfather it is such an awesome movie...
but i generally love all mob movies.. goodfellas is a good one too..
and I‘ve I heard about a new one that is coming out soon called Wisegal
it looks pretty cool plus i hear there is a female slant to it which sounds awesome..

Yes, I have a home theater and we have TOO many DVD‘s. Nothing like a good movie on a large flatscreen Plasma TVwith a powerful surround sound.
Legends of the Fall, Chocolat, Amelie, Thomas Crown Affair (Pierce Brosnan), Life is Beautiful, The Aviator, (inspired me to go the very next day and file paperwork for my 2nd business) Dr. Zhivago, (my wife said she hated the movie cause he cheated on his wife), The Full Monty, A Fish Called Wand, What About Bob, The Commitments, October Sky, Ferris Bueller, The Breakfast Club, The Hallelujah Trail, Shenendoah.Stand By Me.........Just to name a few.

That movie doesn‘t loo bad.. actually I think she looks great in it but I‘m ont quite sure if it is the type of movie I would watch.

I‘d settle down to watch all three Lord of the Rings films, with suitable bathroom and meal breaks of course. Even though it‘s not a particularly sad series of films I always cry, especially during the last battle scene of The Return of the King. There‘s something very moving about it. Also it‘s a book I love and loved as a child though unfortunately gave me a view on true love that has yet to be experienced, I‘m still searching for my Aragorn.
