I am a single, and I would have said, a hetero guy, who broke up with a woman many months ago. After awhile I realized I really was single again, needed to get out there, and yes, was horny. It may sound simplistic, but it dawned on me that I could find easier sex - with guys, and I wasn‘t in a hetero dating or major boyfriend mindset just then. I hadn‘t fooled around with guys in over 15 years, before my marraige, and that was just 3 guys, curiousity, light play. It didn‘t wow me.
So, horny, I discovered Craigs List and cruised it a lot for months. And met over a dozen guys for fun. Here is what I learned that is of concern for any woman hoping her guy is faithful and disease free. I sought out attached hetero or bi men because I figured they may be safer players than (very promiscuous) gay guys. And they would understand my wish for discretion. And I‘m not drawn to feminine men who are gay. Well, there are dozens and dozens of marrried men in my major city who are eager to have sex and who deceive themselves or their ‘dates‘ in several scary ways. And their wives. Most men I met had agreed we would refrain from oral or anal sex at first and take it slow. In fact, we might only do massage and mutual hand jobs. or just have a drink. Ha! Almost all became suddenly interested in doing it all or nearly all. Many men I met would want unprotected oral sex right away. Some would even have unprotected anal sex on first meeting if experienced in it and I said yes! Though most would want condoms. Yet in heat of moment, I saw a lot of guys abandon common sense. Of some 60+ conversations I had by email or in person, only one asked me directly if I was truly disease free, how I knew, and when last tested for the 8 possible tests for STD‘s. I‘d say over 3/4;s never asked or mentioned it in person or on the phone. Once you said DDF in email, it was done, dropped, taken care of. Many will write on CL they are DDF, Disease and Drug Free, as if using it as some foolproof hex vs. risk or illness.
I met married men in their homes. Or they came to my home. Some were conflicted about cheating or stepping out. Quite a few claimed dead or dissolving unions. Some never showed up and later admitted being too scared or conflicted, not ready. But many didn‘t seem to have any doubt or remorse: they just "needed more sex" or liked the guy thing too. Some were on a path it seemed to coming out gay or just acknowledging bi. Some probably just considered themselves straight and we‘re just wanting or "needing" It more. All were quite masculine. Most appeared solid and responsible and even bright.
For quite a few, I think they liked more sex, the male intimacy, and "male" practices of sex: oral and anal. A fair number mentioned neither of those happened, or happened well, at home. I‘m just surprised how many married men are searching for guy sex and how many will go all the way on a first meeting and with little or no protection. Many guys seem to act like unprotected oral sex has very little or no risk at all.
There is a HUGE false culture used on Craigs List about "safe" sex. First, it doesn‘t exist if fluids exchanged, and second, it‘s a deception men use. Even with condoms it is not safe. But I think many guys think condom use in anal sex is total protection. Noooooobody uses them for oral. One out of 300 CL ads will say they are HIV positive. Not one of over 800 ads I read ever admitted to having any other STD. Maybe DDF means one doesn‘t have all out AIDS.
The last surprise: I would not ask for them, but married guys would send me face photos to jumpstart a hookup. Married and so desperate for sex they send face pics. Bizarre. So yeah, you could troll on CL to see if your suspected husband sends you a face pic (or body pic shot in you rbath or bedroom) to you.
Many women will probably be irate or shaken reading this. I just thought it worth sharing. For your sakes. I don‘t have a solution other than honesty. On my own side, I hurt no one, but I did help married men stray and hurt marriages on their side. Except we were safe players and maybe I was a means for them to confront their true sexual preference. Not proud of it, but honest. I will say this, there is a exciting sense of adventure in hooking up with a guy. Is it the hunt, risk, pursuit or anticipation? Maybe all that. A strong intoxicant, ego booster too. And very likely, successful immediate sex.
In hindsight, it seems monogamy, esp. for guys biologically, is almost a quaint concept. Sure, some mammals are monogamous, and our current family structures & culture relies on it or the appearance of it. But biologically, I honestly believe there is an inner drive in men to have sex and to vary their partners, whether preference for male or female. Men really can have sex at times without much or any attachment. We are from Mars.

On the flip side, if my husband wanted to explore men, I‘d handle that better than other women. (I‘d leave, but not be as hurt as if he wanted another woman. I cannot compare myself to a man.)
Face it ladies, other men have that something-something we don‘t!
However, like women, promiscuous gay men disgust me, especially with all the diseases out there. WRAP THAT RASCAL!!!
