I wrote that while i was still hot headed and stressed out. The girl was a friend of mine and i had gained respect for her, however as soon as she said "are we going out" I was disgusted, she walked right back into that abusive relationship, the next day after class me and her went out to get lunch, she started telling me about her fight with him and started crying and sobbing in the resturant. I‘ve always said that i would only do online dateing through a website the day i have given up all other hope, so the night after the restuarnt sence i joined a free online dateing site(already left it trying to save what little pride i have) and i made that post. Sometimes i‘m not even to sure why i want a girlfriend, but i think it‘s to get rid of the feeling of lonelyness, to have someone that makes you smile and laugh, that in your times of need and stress helps you with the burden, someone you can trust, and someone you can do all these things for also. I am sorry i made that post with a hot head, mostly it was things i wish to say to her, but she has been defending "her man" no matter what anyone says

Keep on doing what you are doing. Let her vent on you. Be there as a friend but don‘t pursue the relationship. With any luck, if this girls is smart, she is going to realize who her real friend is. If she sees the support and friendship that she has been given she will come around. Sounds like a case of just going thru maturity. Same with you. Don‘t rush the dating or relationship thing. They always end up bad.
