I‘ve been in a relationship for about 10 months now. For me it feels like the first normal and steady realtionship i had in a long time, i always dream of a common future and love that person dearly. We see each other about 4 times a week and at least every second weekend if not all weekends. I m 24 (student with plenty of free time, he is 27 full time employment with much less free time than me)
About 4 months ago we had an arguement and he said he wanted to break up because he felt ‘suffocated‘ because he had not enough time to himself and for his friends. He said it is not my fault and that it is his issue ( i guess just to make me feel better)! After a long conversation all that change and everything seemed better and normal again.
Now he said the same thing again tonight after a long arguement and for one more time we ended up having this make up conversation that ended with how much he loves me etc.
I am so confused, i dont know whether this is a normal behaviour that comes from time to time and hence i should keep on having faith in this relationship and try to work things out OR whether this is just an early sign of a not so promising and hurtfull future.

If I were you, I would back off some. Let him do alittle missing you. You see him plenty and he is probably telling you the truth. Give him space. Dont mean he dont love you- he said it- any reason to not believe him? You are reading too much into it. We try to analyze everything they say and do. But dont- they dont put as much thought into it- To them it is black and white. I dont think you should worry- just give him some space. Good luck
