This is one of my favorite qoutes:

It all starts with our thoughts. If we could let go of the idea that we MUST have a partner in life to be happy (an idea that has been beat into our heads by society), we could deal with the pain of break-ups much better. Everything happens for a reason. EVERYTHING! Whether we like the outcome or not, there is a reason that man is or is not in our life anymore. Use your time alone to get to know yourself. Your inner self. Learn what makes you tick and what makes you happy. If you can‘t make yourself happy, then you surely can‘t make others happy. So there‘s my two cents. :)
I‘m an old member. I haven‘t been here in forever! The site looks AWESOME! I‘m gonna try and poke my head in from time to time. I‘ve missed it here.

Your words were very true.
I think it is when we come to the conclusion that divorce does not mean failure but a new opportunity for life, a new direction, a new beginning, a new start that we can move on and become the women we can and should be.
I got to start my life all over again at 42. I am such a lucky girl!

You are most welcome.
I got divorced really young, at 23. Got married at 18. Big mistake. At the ripe ol‘ age of 29 (haha), I think I‘ve FINALLY learned how to just be happy with myself. If I don‘t love and take care of me, no one will. But everything starts with how we think. Change your thoughts, change your life.

Many years ago I found this site that I‘ve come to love.

Sign up for ALL thier free email subscriptions as well as on their sister pages, especially the soul journey website.
It‘s stuff like these that are inspirational, uplifting and most importantly, passes on messages that are key concepts for changing our attitudes and thought processes.
I wish I could MAKE people read this stuff....it‘s so worth while!
