This is something I would like to share with everyone. In November of 06 I received a telephone call about my sister (25) not wakening up. She had been having bad headaches every single day and the doctors where she was at just drugged her up. Well, I live 2.5 hrs away from her. I had to go get tires for my car then I headed down there know just that she was not responding. I was ahead of a snow storm. I arrived at the hospital and I had made some phone calls on the way to get everyone prepared that she is not going to make it. Her liver shut down & she aspirated. I did not leave ICU until they made me I had everyone in the world I knew praying for her. My Husband stayed at home with 2 of our children just waiting for me to call him. I had told him I am not coming home until she wakes up. Like I said on the way there I called my Husbands ex wife to prepare the other 2 children. I got to speak with a nurse while no one was in the room and she said that she will need a miracle. The following day I went back to the hospital and a friend I grew up with meet me up there. I walked out to talk to her and her & proceded back into ICU. As we walked into ICU my sisters Hubby (not really been together 7 years 2 kids) was in there and he said she responded. I was like no way. So he called her name and sure enough her eyes rolled up in the back of her head. The doctors where amazed already. Well the next day she was completely awake and wondering what happened. They thought she would have to have a liver transplant but I kept telling them she received a miracle and she will be fine. Sure enough she is fine and since then I have personally taken her to better doctors. Her liver shut down from Tylenol. My little sister whom never goes to church I am even sure if she prayed at the time had the most amazing gifts anyone can receive. She has 2 small children and was out of the hospital within a week. One of the ladies that was there when she came in also stopped by when I was there and said “she was dead, I can’t believe she is awake and not brain damaged.”
I know it’s long but I am proud of my little sister and I wanted to share her story.
