Her Eyes – My first poem
From the moment I saw them, she was like no other;
Eyes not only that of a lover, but a wife and a mother.
The look of honesty and trust, and the compassion of man;
They struck me like lightning, they shattered my plan!
A never-ending beauty these eyes they possess.
Powerful enough to move mountains, yet they ask for much less.
A man caught in their spell will lose all track of time
A wife that won’t age, not now, not anytime
We live in a world where models burn out like charcoal
But these eyes will be here, and relinquish no sparkle
So I’m writing this poem, and I’ve dropped to one knee
Won’t you please give me hope and show interest in me?

thank you for the compliment. actually it was very hard for me to write it. i was trying to envision my soul mate while being very emotional and crying. it was part of my awakening to my faults. writing does not come easy for me though, i must build emotions or i write very logical and unfeeling. dieting helps too, it really helps the mind wander :) thank you again, your kind words mean alot :)
