Awesome Busty....Congrats on the job and the benefits that come with it.... . They are lucky to have you. I am so happy you found the right job for you.
As for good things happening....where do I begin?
Hmmm....well, I finally found a doctor who is doing me some good. My blood pressure is finally under control. My doc put me on a diet & exercise plan, with the aide of diet pills and pain medication. I have so much energy now.
Hubby bought me a threadmill (which I haven‘t used yet) & exercise bike (I love the bike). I have lost 38 pounds so far and still loosing.
Spring is in the air, hopefully as strength in my legs, back, & neck improve I will be able to start going on walks. During the winter we adopted 2 shi*zu dogs, they are wonderful house dogs.....soon we will be going on walks together.
My sons and grandchildren are all doing fine....healthy & happy.
I am looking forward to getting started on my flower garden.
I am loving life.

Is that 3 dogs you have now?? I still have the one.
Have you still got the one who was doing your nut in digging up your plants, the one you brought a crate/cage for last year??

Oh no, Tula we found a home for that huge dog. He was to big and powerful for me. He was just trying to play and he knocked me down and jumped on me, I landed on my already broken arm....it was a mess. Not only that, he did not make a good inside dog, he loved to chew up computer cords and was just very destrustive.
Our sh*tzu dogs are so loveable and smart and just the right size. They have fit right in our home....the perfect house dog. My girl sh*tzu wears dresses and hair bows....lol.

Glad you found a home for it.
The skooch I have now was 6 last Sunday, have had her since May 1st 6 years ago. She cost a small fortune to buy and then cost us about 2.5 grands worth of damage in the first 2 years of her life.
My exh used to despair about her........... me, him and Spug got to the stage where we were practically scared to put our keys in the front door and come in house, fearing what devastation we‘d find. The house would often look like it had been burgled and there she would be, wagging her ass and body full swing, so pleased to see us!!!
To this day, I‘m glad I stuck with her. Out of the blue one weekend she "turned" in to a prize skooch, became well behaved and calmed right down. She got even better behaved when I lost my rescue boxer in 2007. Spug jokes now that we‘re like a married couple and that I‘ve turned her in to a "nearly-human", lol. I maintain to this day now that I couldnt imagine my house with out a skooch in it.
For me it would feel empty and dismal to come home to nothing.

We, h and I had a beautiful day. We got in the truck and drove for hours, not really knowing where we were going. One of those long country drives. Sunny day, it was in the 70‘s, found a lake, we ate peanut butter and oranges, then found little out of the way shops. Found my girls Mother‘s Day gift.
Other good news - the baseball tournament was canceled due to a snow storm moving in tomorrow...wth
Now all my beautiful daffodils are going to freeze their buds off.

Congratulations Busty! So glad that you have found what you were looking for.
My good news.. hmm...
My children are happy.
My son and I are still able to be great friends while having a parent/child respect with eachother
God has graced the land around our home with vast oceans of red, yellow, green, blue and purple wildflowers.
I can step out on my porch and saturate my senses in the heavy perfume of the prairie verbena.
My H finally bought the kids a swing set and trampoline to play on.
Each day is a blessing.

Oh that just sounds so beautiful. How I would love to wake up in the morning and be where you live!!!
Not sure what you would do if you woke up to find some strange Irish woman in your spare room though

Lovely post, moogie. Made me feel like I was there.
bubbles and I will be there shortly! I like to sleep outside, wouldn‘t want to miss a moment of the beauty, so she can have the bed.

We can make a tent on the trampoline for shally! lol
I lay down on it yesterday and looked up at the sky. The moon was up early. Our trampoline has an enclosure and the half moon was smack dab in the center of the circle. Made me feel so peaceful. I‘ve never been out there late at night and just looked at the stars. I bet it‘s glorious since we live far from the city and it‘s so crystal clear.
Bubbles we don‘t have a spare room, but if you don‘t mind sleeping on a twin sized bed with a princess canopy surrounded by great big pink stuffed animals you can sleep in my daughters room.
They still sleep with mommy
Then we can both get up real early and jump on the trampoline to wake up Shally!
