Anybody who hasn‘t been living under a rock knows that women as a whole have completely redefined what a "real man" is, but I haven‘t yet heard a belief on what a "real woman" is.
I would like to hear the guys‘ perspective more so on this one, simply because the title "real man" has been defined by women. If "real woman" were defined by women also, there would be an imbalance, lack of social homeostasis. Not sure where it‘d lead, but I‘m certain it wouldn‘t be all that good.
I want a woman‘s perspective, which is why I posted this in the General topic, but I think a man‘s opinion is strongly needed on this subject.
I‘ll start with my belief. There is little difference between a real man and a real woman. Men focus on what people deserve; women focus on what people need. We need both. Kids need both. A real woman is in touch with her emotions but does not allow them to influence her actions. She uses logic and reason, faculties that are both much higher than emotions.

100% definately agree with that.
I also think "real" men or "real" women have the capacity to balance, reflect and grow as individuals.
Almost like holistically being aware of themselves first as individuals, then as themselves in their immediate environments and then in the greater/wider world around them.

My idea of a real man - or real woman - are individuals who live their lives with integrity, courage, and dignity.
These would be people who work hard, take care of their homes and families, and honor their commitments. People who care as much about others as they do themselves, and who try to do right by others. These would be people who have honor and moral courage. Who try to make the world a better place.

Integrity
Bravo Rhi, my sentiments exactly 
On-line dictionairies / wikipedia all define it in the same way.
Integrity as a concept has to do with perceived consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations and outcome, whether man or woman.
1. Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.
2. The state of being unimpaired; soundness.
3. The quality or condition of being whole or undivided; completeness
Lack of integrity then surely implies..........
more dishonest / dysfunctional behaviour
a will to find a way to find reasons in order to justify such behaviours
substandard morals despite personal protests to the contrary.................. (I‘m all this but hey really I‘m not.... just watch me in action)
Not how I would define "real" men or women either. Not many of the qualities indeed needed, in order to make the world a better place or to care about themselves and do right by others.
They say "Mastercard" is PRICELESS, I say integrity is!!
