Halloween is a-coming!
Who here will be going to a Halloween party? What will you dress up as?
I promised to take my little brother and his friends trick or treating this year, so my Halloween evening will be spent trailing after a group of mini-vampires, mini-devils and mini-witches, tsk tsk tsk.

If I had a Halloween party to go to I‘d go as Rambo or Pocahontas. Maybe next year, hmm.
What annoys me about Halloween in my neighbourhood is we often get kids trick or treating who don‘t bother to dress up. They turn up on your doorstep holding a pilowcase open and say things like "can we have some lollies, miss?". I don‘t have the heart to turn them away but I think I will this year, I‘ll tell them to come back when they have a costume.

Among other things I do, I also race cars... so usually I just have a last minute panic and wear my overalls, as Halloween isn‘t really celebrated here and only a few places have parties going.
Two years ago me and a friend did a pair costume - me with my overalls and helmet, and her with a Death costume. We were walking around, me with a pint of beer in one hand, and the overall idea of the costume was "don‘t drink and drive"

I lucked out, and this weekend is the ex‘s with the kids, so I will hit a haunted house on Friday with friends, maybe go dancing afterwards??? Saturday I will steal the kids and take them trick-or-treating cause lord knows he won‘t !!! Then I will return them and hopefully hit two parties , I‘m soo excited cause I haven‘t been to a Halloween party since 99!!! All dressed as a Vampire!!! I am very excited! I may even at some point switch up costume to Batwoman!!

I am going to a best friends fancy dress party as a witch.
I have a grim, disgusting coloured skirt to wear, hat, broomstick, etc etc.
I havent dressed up for yonks so really looking forward to it!!

I will be watching scary movies all day and will carve pumpkins with Boo. We‘ll go trick or treating once the sun goes down (which will be in no way fast enough for the boy). My parents are coming over to man the door. We usaually eat pizzas after the candy inspection is over. I shall down as many beers as humanly possible and enjoy a few more blood curdling movies.
We used to throw grand Halloween parties each year. I miss that! Damn this economy!!

I am going as Miss Las Vegas or the "enlightened" one or the electric woman or whatever I decide to call myself.
I have 6" black platform boots infused with flashing fiber optic lights, fish nets, black spandex short-shorts, a multi-colored flashing belt, a black bra with multi-colored flashing strands of fiber optic lighting that flash in a circle to create a hypnotic pattern. I also have large lit-up fiber optic fairy wings and a tuxedo jacket that has colored sequins and fiber optic lighting with a matching top hat.
Accessories include flashing finger rings, bright pink feather eyelashes.
I‘ve been adding to this costume for years as I originally wore it at Burning Man. I‘ll see if I can get a good photo. I am totally loaded with batteries. It‘s amazing at night!!
I have to be careful though because a few years ago I wore the costume and had a nice little cocktail buzz going and twisted my ankle wearing those 6" platform boots. It‘s so cool though....one night a year I get to be a normal height of 5‘6"!!!

I am here with my baby daddy now carving pumpkins with his sisters kids and working on his mom‘s computer... we are going to join the kids later for the police department‘s safe kids halloween fest. I am going as a flapper and he‘s going as a battered husband! blak eye 22 and wife beater :)
