yes they did!
Hiltler wanted Change. Hitler had Charisma. Hitler was the Messiah. Hitler ran against everything that the past administration Weimar Republic stood for. The press was behind him. The intellectuals were behind him.....Charles Lindbergh LOVED the guy.

I hate talking politics, but it turns my stomach to see Hitlery. I have never NOT wanted someone to win an election as that woman. everytime I hear she has won a primary over Obama, I have a seizure...well, it‘s not a medically diagnosed one but it is witnessed by my family. I‘m in fear of her going on to win the election by some weird stroke of luck and I will bite my tongue off and choke on my own vomit. I don‘t know if I can convey it enough how much I can‘t stand that woman.
I don‘t even know what to think this year, nor who I‘ll vote for, but I can guarantee it won‘t be that ....that of which we speak not of in our household. (haha...that is what I call her around here)
I mostly think she won‘t make it past the primaries, but then I get this creepy feeling, like my hair standing up on end, and realize, anything could be possible, even if it seems far-fetched.
I know, I hate talking politics, but damn I had to get that much off my chest. She gives me the heebie jeebies.

I‘m right there with you. She‘s a dead ringer for my very abusive, narcissistic mother. Scary. Even her voice is the same.
Obama has an interesting, childlike naive way. I have kids, I love kids. Don‘t want them to run the country *yet* LOL.
Mc Cain is ok, but I liked Duncan Hunter the best. Of the Reps, I think I would have liked Huckabee. Although I cannot imagine saying "President Huckabee"
I prefer cable channels where I don‘t have to watch the mud wrestling. I say they should make a decision, and go with it-the Dems are screwing themselves at this point. (not that it bugs me all that much)

I‘m beyond sick. I spent the past 16 years working within the state political system as a political, legislative and public policy analyst. I wrote bills, fixed bills, testified before policy and appropriations committees to help pass or kill bills, worked bills, you name it. I also tracked and analyzed federal legislation and also wrote and worked some of that.
In the end, I dislike politics and I dislike politicians even more.
The process has to drag on ad infinitum, ad tedium, ad nauseum because the giant egos that are politicians just can‘t bear to give up the center stage -- any and ALL of them.
BLECH!

Did you know that Hitler has absolutely nothing to do with American politics, much less Republicans?
