Only once then I was afraid I‘d get my hand cut off. But this is even better, you‘ll all love this one. Men that commit adultery get the top of their ears cut off like Spock. I did see it with my own eyes. I wish I would have taken a pic, he was driving the taxi I was in. So you know I kept starring at it from behind. I wish they would do that here so we can spot the assholes. |

Hi People! I just read the entire ASSHOLE thread and will now add my 2cents worth without repeating what most of you have written. There were so many comments which rang so true for me...Dee Dee, Yasmina, Blkmagic, Rhiannon come to mind.
Ok here are mind:
When he plays mind fucking games with your head so that you begin to question YOUR own sanity, he is an arsehole.
When he lies to you repeatedly, with the ease of breathing, he is an arsehole.
When he lies to others about you (friends, family, workmates) and about your relationship, he is an arsehole.
When he spends money liberally on himself and penny pinches with you, he is an arsehole.
When he scoffs and gets infuriated at homeless people asking him for a dollar cause HE works HARD for HIS MONEY, he is an arsehole. RUUUUN!!!
If he makes you cry too often, at home AND in public, he is an arsehole.
If he makes you feel unsafe with that psycho angry look, even though he has never hit you, he is an arsehole.
If he is never there for you when you need help, he is an arsehole.
If he goes out partying when you have the flu, (even tho you don‘t live together) he is an arsehole. He should come and see you and look after you!
If he never wants anything to do with your family cause he thinks they hate him (ahem, they do!) he is an arsehole.
If he comes to visit your parents, makes YOU buy a box of chocolates and he presents them to your parents as HIS gift he is an arsehole.
Man.....are you bored yet????? There‘s more....
If he spends $15000 on himself getting plastic surgery and laser eye surgery and yet argues with you for a $7 pizza, he is an arsehole.
If he gives you the silent treatment, then says "you KNOW why I‘m angry!" he is an arsehole. Run girl, RUN!
If he buys you a diamond engagement ring for a modest but decent amount and inflates the price AND says "I paid bla bla bla for that ring you are wearing!" in every argument you have he is an arsehole.
If he thinks he is king shit and most women are sluts he is an arsehole.
If he says "I never have to pay for sex" he is an arsehole.
If he has a big porn collection which he won‘t let you see, he is an arsehole - probably a freaking perverted one.
If he repeatedly hurts and disappoints you, he is an arsehole.
If it is ALWAYS his choice of movie at the video shop, he is an arsehole.
If there is never anything to eat or drink - not even the coffee/tea you like at his place, he is an arsehole.
If he high-fives himself after sex and yells "I GOT LAID!!" He is an arsehole.
I think that‘s enough.

Somehow I missed this thread the first time around, but I gotta add my two cents worth.
After 7 years of marriage you tell him you‘re pregnant with second child and he says he doesn‘t want anymore kids and if you have this one, you are raising it on your own (Yep, actually happened and HELL YES I kept my beautiful baby boy 
You are at home with 6 month old baby, hubby says at 1:00, hes going out to get cigarettes....at midnight a "friend" of yours calls to tell you that they planned a trip to the races in another town but since they knew you‘d say there wasn‘t enough money for the trip, they just lied and went anyway...oh and btw, he‘s too drunk to drive home so he comes home at 1:30 the next day. (again, happened)
He doesn‘t come home all night often enough that you stop worrying about his safety and just get on with your day.
You‘re kids get into the habit of calling Daddy to say good night (every night) cause they know he won‘t be home before they are asleep (and no, he wasn‘t working or doing anything constructive, just "out with friends")
After all this, you find out he‘s sleeping with other women and when you divorce him, he sends you a text wondering what he‘s done to piss you off so badly.
Yep, these are all the same guy. Scary part is we managed to stay married for 10 years. God, how big an idiot can I be?????Wow that trip down memory lane makes it sooooo much easier to not believe his "I‘ve changed" bullshit.

Oh I can definitely understand alot of what the women are saying and things they consider an asshole to be. Things like not opening doors for you, helping to carry in things, ...just all the nice things a good man should do.
But seems that all these things are put on the man. What is it that women are suppose to do to hold up their end of the bargain...and don‘t say sex either.

I dont see anything in this thread about that type of thing. I wouldnt say a man was an asshole because he didnt hold the door for me, i would say he was an asshole if he slamed a door in my face. I think what you are talking about is manners and has alot to do with how you were raised.

I get ya sunny...but there were comments on here about a man being an asshole for certain little things such as that.
So I put it out, if a man is suppose to knock himself out to be perfect...what does the man get out of the deal? I think alot of women would say simply, "me"...which is pretty conceited.
So I wondered what does the woman have to do to hold up her end of the bargain?
