I am really struggling because my boyfriend suddenly refuses to see anything good in my son who is 10. I know that as a single mom I have allowed alot of bad behavior on my sons part to persisit but he is not a bad kid. My boyfriend who I am about to have a baby with sees only the things he dislikes about my parents and my ex in my son and refuses to look for good. This has started in the last 3 months or so. Help

Wow, you‘re really in a bad spot.

This man can do a lot of damage to your son, and your son sounds like he has enough to deal with already. Now you throw a baby into the equation...holyhell. I dunno....

Men may come & go in your life. Your children are YOURS forever.

It just started about 3 monthes ago or was that when you really noticed it? It sounds like he is trying to control you. You have to ask yourself this question..... at this moment who was in my life first?????? Your son or your boyfriend.

Your child comes first. If he can‘t get on board with it (considering he‘s going to be a new parent himself) you got tuff decisions to make. You can‘t allow your child to be damaged by his attitudes.
