In all my years I have had a yeast infection only once.
My boyfriend told me how his previous girlfriend had them all the time and how she smelled funny because of them.
A few months ago, I suffered from 2 yeast infections. Then I found out my boyfriend had been phoning his ex. Now I‘m suspicious that he was doing more than phoning her. Why would I just out of the blue get 2 yeast infections at the same time that he‘s reconnecting!!! with her.
How likely is it that I would catch her problem?
I am getting more and more worried.
Thanks for the info.
Your bf could be hooking up with her, or not.
HE could have a mild yeast infection himself & be passing it to you. He could have had this condition for a long time, but not likely without some symptoms. If he had unrpotected sex with her, then you can be sure they were passing it back & forth between them.

It is possible your yeast infections could be completely unrelated to him (or her). Have you been on any antibiotics lately? Have you been under a lot of stress? Doing any street drugs? (I used to get yeast infections a lot when I smoked pot & snorted cocaine, which I do not do any more).
In any case, if he‘s your bf, WHY would he be contacting an ex-gf? There really is NO good reason for that.
I‘d tell him that‘s unacceptable to you & see what he does. I‘d also NOT have unprotected sex with him. Always use a condom! Also, both of you need to be treated for yeast infections. INSIST he does!
Good luck!
