My ex fiance says he was able to pull my medical records and says he knows I took an anti-deppresant and that he has ample evidence that I am unstable and threatens to tell my employer I tried to commit suicide... numerous times. Totally untrue accusation. I know my employer will probably recognize him to be emotionally unstable himself - though I still worry about the repercussions of such an act will do to my reputation at work - false or not.
My other concern is that if he was able to obtain my medical records - he will find out I had an abortion - while dating him. We were 3 months into the relationship at the time - and I was uncertain of our future - for good reason.
Is/was he really able to access these medical records? Isn‘t that against hippa laws? I took prozac for a little while - that‘s what believes me to think he knows something...
Can anyone have access to my medical files?

Not without your permission. If he has your medical records he had better have a waiver signed by you giving him permission otherwise he is in trouble and the place that he obtained the records from.
