Hi Dr

I have recently started getting a clear, jelly type discharge. It‘s like small lumps of clear jelly stuff. I notice it more so after going to the toilet.

What is this and is it anything to worry about?

Hi kompress,

Sorry for the delayed reply. Usually clear discharge is normal; it‘s just the usual cervical mucus that women have. If it‘s white or looks like cottage cheese it might be a yeast infection. I would recommend going to the doctor if you are experiencing any symptoms; this means anything like itching, burning, pain, or increased frequency of urination.

Is it all the time, or just certain times of the month? I get that stuff when I‘m ovulating (about 2 weeks after my period)
