My doctor is referring me my gyno as Im suffering from above.

He says I will probably beed an op but what does this involve?

Hi kompess,

Stress incontinence is often treated with surgery. The type of procedure depends on the cause of incontinence as well as the severity, etc.

Here is some good info on stress incontinence as well as the associated treatments and surgeries used to treat it.

Hi

I have an appointment to see the specialist on Monday 18th Aug for Urodynamics test.

Unsure what this is for as I thought I would just see my Gyno first.

Can you explain please what I can expect?

First of all my Gyno checked for prolapse and muscle tightness and they were fine.

Then I got all the tests, empty bladder, fill bladder, empty bladder etc.

The Gyno said I will have either an unstable bladder or stable bladder and he will send results to my GP and then my GP will give me suitable medication. Hopefully the meds will work but he said depending on what type of bladder I have, I might need a small operation but that is at a last resort.
