My husband‘s cell phone had many phone calls registering to his own cell phone number. When I asked the cell phone carrier and showed it to them they said that was because it was a blocked identity number so would only register his number. He had several of them in the past two years. He gave me some explanation and I let it go but it still bothered me. Then I requested phone records and those same type of calls registering to his own number saying incoming calls were back several years long before the explanation he gave me. Also during both of those time periods he was acting very suspicious with many of the cheating signs. Has anyone ever seen this on their husband‘s cell or know about it?

This is an old trick, a good one but old. You will not be able to get the numbers that the calls came from because they have changed the settings on the phone. Now if you really wanted to jack with your hubby..... You could go into the settings mode on his phone and set it so that he could not receive calls from blocked or restricted numbers.

Thanks for replying! I wasn‘t sure about it. When my husband first told me who they could be from I believed him but when I ordered the old phone records I found out these calls registering his own number were there over three years before he met this person he claims was calling.
The thing that frustrates me the most is that I can only pull up the last six years of records cause that‘s when I was smart enough to put us on the same family plan in my name. The calls were very heavy back then when I set up the new family plan for about two years then died down with an occasional call but then they started back up about 2 and a half years ago.
I found my husband had put on a key logging software on one of our computers recently (he put it on several years ago). I noticed these he was trolling for sex partners on the internet.
Also one of the key logging entries looks like an instant message. It definitely said "looking forward to meeting". I saw a number that went for a few months, right after that ended the suspicious incoming cell number with his own number calls started up again.
Let me tell you I was completely naive until now. I had suspicions but being overwhelmed with our children‘s autism has kept me from seeing many things! I started reading things online and got that one book 892 ways to tell and I was shocked to see how many things he was doing that fit those categories!
By the way, how do they pull this trick of the phone number registering as his own when they call? Is there anyway I can get his older records from the cell phone company?

It looks like he‘s cheating on you! If you‘re really worried then confront him about it. You‘ll be able to tell if he is lying to you. Follow what your gut tells you. Good luck!

Buy a disposible phone and set his phone to forward the calls to the new number. Try and do this when he will be away from his phone for a long time. Hide his phone where he will not be able to find it and make sure that he does not have any idea that you know anything. If you can, change his password to his voicemail so he cannot delete the incoming voicemails. You still might not be able to get the caller ID, but yu can find out who is leaving the messages. I know, that‘s how I caught mine.

Many people I know and receive calls from have unlisted numbers. It shows as "restricted" on the cell phone bill. I DID however block Mr M‘s phone for restricted calls, and my daughters as well.
If the person wants to get through, they can unblock their number, I believe its *72, (not sure) and the number is visible.
I also blocked it on my home phone. Nothing is more irritating than running for a phone call only to have it be my REALLY OBNOXIOUS aunt that I need an hour to get off the phone with!

My ex used his cell phone but called a caling card number so that the real number he was calling didnt register. Make sense? Where theres a will theres a way.
The calls were made on his way to work, during lunch, on his way home and once at night. NEVER when I was around though.
How I caught him was when I asked my daughter to get into him email. I didnt realize it was that easy. We had AOL and there were 3 security questions which I knew the answer to.
As soon as I got his password I immediately knew someting was screwed up. The password was from his high school sweatheart who we saw the previous year at his high school renunion.
We divorced after 30 years. The kicker? My ex stole 7000 from our sons checking account while he was serving in Iraq, Thats what made up my mind to divorce him.

Thanks everyone for the replies! There is one number that I found repeatedly and it seems to often be paired with his own number. However when I try to find out about it through reverse phone detective they say they can‘t find it and return my fee. So how can you find out who that number belongs to?
Also this one is freaking me out but I placed a spy software program on his computer. Well I thought that several times it seemed like there was less notices than the time before. For example I remember seeing that it said 182 messages when I closed off but when I opened it today it said 176 and there was about 15 new ones.
My husband is pretty computer savvy so I‘m assuming he‘s figured it out and trying to delete some without deleting all of them so I won‘t catch on.
Yikes! What‘s a woman to do????
By the way the cell is in my name. However he might have figured it out by now and has got himself a pay as you go phone that I don‘t know about!
