After 16 years together he claims, "We don‘t have anything in common".   My response, "We have identical political views, share an enormous bond regarding music and I haven‘t even gotten to the two children we agreed to raise and love."

He later admitted he was just trying to justify his pathetic behavior.  WELL DUH!!!

"She is just a friend."

To a mutual friend "I cheated on WP in the last few months of our engagement."

Yeah...my husband said, "Nothing physical happened. It was just a game we were playing with e-mail. (sending dirty messages to each other at work, never thinking about the risk to his job!)

They had cyber sex and hung out as friends with our kids in front of his friends & family, on many occasions.

She wouldn‘t give it up. She wanted him to buy the cow before she was giving any milk...so it seems, but WTF...who knows?

He says he‘s not even attracted to her. She just made him feel good about himself. (means: I went after someone that I didn‘t care about, so if they shot me down, I wouldn‘t care, basically used her).

She probably saw the nice, expensive truck he drives and our big house on the golf course and thought she‘d be moving in once I was out of the picture, until I informed her that they are both mine (in my name and I pay for them).  

I drive am old, beat up Honda, and living in this huge house makes me feel ridiculous, but he INSISTED. I finally agreed figuring, if the money is going to a mortgage and we‘re gaining equity, it‘s better than him blowing it (literally). Plus, it‘s tax deductible...the mortgage that is, not the cocaine.

Says if we split up he doesn‘t want a woman like her that is 38 years old and has 2 children. (I‘m 37 and we have 1 child!) What an asshole! 

I said, "Yeah, I‘d like an older man with money, that knows how to treat a woman with respect."  Women in their 30s with children wouldn‘t put up with his shit for long anyway. He‘d have to go for a young niave chick.

As to cheating on 2 women who loved him and didn‘t know about one other, my ex said: "I thought what you both didn‘t know wouldn‘t hurt you...."

If you give more attention to something else other then your significant other you are cheating...may not be physical, but its emotional and it hurts all the same.

He used all of these when he told me about his fooling around with another woman three weeks before we were married.

I made the biggest mistake when I wasn‘t worried because she was a nasty, scummy girl, but I guess that didn‘t matter to him. I even let him get rides home from work with her. I even offered to give her money to do so. I should have know she lived right in the town that they worked in and she drove him about 20 min out of her way. He was very dirty about the situation he introduced me to her, invited me to go to her house and hang out with her and her (boyfriend) to drink which by the way I did not go. Stupid me!!, let her borrow games, got rides from her and the list goes on. He told me about two weeks before our daughter was born and she is two months old. He waited a year and a half to tell me. We had three miscarriages and I used to be like swear on them that you have never cheated on me and he did. Nice huh. Well enough venting please let me know what you think
